I used to dread Valentine’s
Day, and would always have a bad attitude because I was single; but today I
have received a new perspective on this 'Day of Love'! Valentines Day has
been about going on dates, getting flowers from your boyfriend/ Husband and being
in-love with that person you are with. That is why the people who are single
hate this holiday; and honestly I thought I was going to hate today too. But I
have awesome news to all of you singles:
JESUS LOVES US! His
Love is bigger and better than any love, gift or date we could ever have with
any other person! I finally realized that today! We have something to
celebrate, and that is the fact that we have The Love of Jesus Christ! His love
is perfect and even though we don't deserve it, He Still Loves Us! His love is
never ending, and it never fails us. God is Love and that is all we need!
1 John 4:8
Whoever does not love does not know God,
because God is love.
Some of you might say,
"Well, how do you know Jesus loves us so much?" And well I'm here to
tell you that I know because Jesus gave up his life for you and that is REAL
LOVE!
1 John 3:16
We know what real love is because Jesus gave
up his life for us. So we also ought to give up our
lives for our brothers and sisters.
1 Corinthians 13:4-8a
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it
does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not
self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love
does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects,
always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.
He died for us so that
we can have life and
have joy and hope when it’s hard for us to keep going. We are sinners, but Christ
took the beating for us so that we can live a life of abundance! And there is no greater love than that!

so we can love others like He so dearly loves us!

Three things will last forever--faith, hope,
and love--and the greatest of these is love.
So today, don't think
you are forgotten, because believe it or not you have the greatest Valentine of
All Time, and that is Jesus, and HE WANTS YOU! The Creator of all things is
Jealous for you! And the best part about having Him as your Valentine is that
He loves you FOREVER! So you have a NEVER ENDING VALENTINE! So Praise Him today
and go out and spread the Love because He first Loved You!<3
